Plan a Meeting Across Time Zones

Use the actual meeting date and named zones to avoid daylight-saving mistakes.

Practical workflow illustration. Review your own output before using it.

Start with the organizer’s zone

Choose an IANA timezone such as Asia/Karachi or Europe/London rather than a vague abbreviation. Use the actual meeting date; a zone’s offset can vary during the year.

Compare local dates

Enter destination zones and calculate. Check both the local date and hour. A meeting late at night in one location can fall on the next day elsewhere.

Review clock changes

Some local times are skipped or repeated when daylight saving changes. The planner flags invalid or ambiguous cases. Choose an unambiguous time and check the actual calendar invitation.

Share a clear invitation

Include the date, organizer zone and each participant’s local time. This planner does not send invitations or book a meeting automatically.
