Validate JSON Before Turning Records into CSV

Check syntax and data shape before exporting records for a spreadsheet.

Practical workflow illustration. Review your own output before using it.

Validate syntax first

Use the JSON formatter to check commas, quotes and brackets. Valid JSON syntax does not mean the data has the fields required by your next application.

Use an array of records

An example input is [{"sku":"0012","price":19.5},{"sku":"0013","price":25}]. Keep identifiers as strings when leading zeros matter. Check how nested objects are represented rather than assuming they become separate columns.

Inspect the columns

Convert the JSON and check the CSV header, missing fields and quoted values. Spreadsheet software can reinterpret long numbers and dates; import sensitive identifiers as text.

Keep a reversible copy

Keep the original JSON and compare a few records after importing the CSV. Use the CSV-to-JSON workspace when you need to inspect a CSV structurally, with explicit type handling.
